Feestdagen in Servië

Serbia celebrates 11 official public holidays each year, shaped by Orthodox Christian traditions and national history. Statehood Day on February 15th, known as Sretenje, is the most important national celebration. Serbia follows the Orthodox calendar for Christmas on January 7th and for Easter. The uniquely Serbian tradition of Slava, a family patron saint celebration, is inscribed on UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage list and remains central to Serbian identity.
