The Main Route: 42.195 Kilometers

The main Marathon route is 42.195 kilometers and is the ultimate endurance test.\n

• Start: Given from the historic starting point at Marathon, next to the Tomb.

• Route: Initially relatively flat, but the most difficult part begins around the 11th kilometer, with a continuous uphill that lasts until the 31st kilometer.

• Finish: Concludes at the Panathenaic Stadium (Kallimarmaro), offering a unique emotion to runners.
