Helligdage i Grækenland
Helligdage, bankhelligdage og mærkedage i Grækenland for 2026
Greece celebrates 13 official public holidays each year, the majority of which are rooted in Eastern Orthodox Christian tradition. The most important national holidays are March 25th, the anniversary of the Greek War of Independence, and October 28th, Ohi Day. Easter is the supreme religious celebration, observed with extraordinary splendour across the country, while the Dormition of the Theotokos on August 15th marks the peak of the Greek summer.
